Dr. Ilana Itenberg was born in Lithuania and immigrated to the United States with her parents in 1979. She grew up in upstate New York and after high school, went on to graduate from Ithaca College in 1995 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology.
In 1996, Dr. Itenberg attended New York College of Podiatric Medicine in New York, New York. She was a member of the Gamma Chapter of Pi Delta, a National Podiatric Honor Society.
After graduating in 2000, she began a three year surgical residency at Saint Barnabas Medical Center in Livingston, New Jersey, an affiliate of Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
Dr. Itenberg completed her surgical residency in 2003. She worked in Riverdale, New York and in New York City and had privileges at both Columbia Presbyterian Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center, and on staff at several surgical centers.
In 2007, she moved to New Hampshire and joined Foundation Foot and Ankle in Nashua until she separated in November 2022 and founded Heel To Toe Podiatry, PLLC with Dr Abboud.
She remains on staff at Southern New Hampshire Medical Center.
Dr. Itenberg has been board-certified with American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery since 2010. She is a Diplomate of American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS), a Fellow of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
She received New Hampshire Magazine’s Top Doc in 2014.
Dr. Itenberg is knowledgeable in both surgical and medical podiatry and has been in the area for 16+ years.
When she is not seeing patients, Dr. Itenberg enjoys spending time with her husband and her two boys, hiking, playing tennis and traveling.
