Dr. George Abboud was born in Lebanon. He immigrated to the United States with his parents in 1984. He grew up in Dedham, MA and after graduating high school went on to Boston University where he graduated in 1996. He knew early on that his calling would be in medicine.
In June 2002, he graduated from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami, Florida. He was a member of Eta Chapter of Pi Delta, the National Podiatric Honor Society.
He then completed a two year intense surgical and orthopedic residency at the VA Boston Healthcare Systems in Boston, Massachusetts in 2004.
Dr. Abboud has been board-certified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery (ABFAS) since 2011. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons (ACFAS), and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association (APMA).
He is affiliated with Southern New Hampshire Medical Center since his work began there in 2005. After separating from Foundation Medical Partners in November 2022, founded Heel To Toe Podiatry, PLLC with Dr. Ilana Itenberg.
He received New Hampshire’s Magazine’s Top Doc in 2012.
Dr. Abboud is knowledgeable in both surgical and medical podiatry and has been in the area for 17+ years.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. As a close knit family they enjoy taking hikes and deep sea fishing
